We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to The Cove Atlantis’s culinary school - FISH by José Andrés. The unique seafood-focused concept from chef José and his team celebrates the delectable bounty of the beautiful Bahamian waters, while supporting sustainable fishing practices and the protection of Bahamian coral reefs. This one-of-a-kind culinary experience is performed in an enchanting space that echoes the serenity of an underwater escape.


José Andrés is a Michelin-star chef, restaurateur, culinary inventor, television personality and seafood aficionado. With FISH at The Cove, José highlights the freshest possible seafood, skillfully transformed into memorable dishes using local fish and seafood from fresh lobster and crustaceans to tuna, lionfish, and Bahamian conch. Dishes range from simple and flavorful to innovative and creative, as well as his team's take on Bahamian favorites. 

José brings his commitment to ethically-sourced seafood to FISH by supporting sustainable Bahamian fishing practices, most notably in the preparation of its signature dish of simply prepared, fried local lionfish – an invasive species that while delicious, has been severely damaging to the coral reefs of The Bahamas.
